How about a sequel to Adventures in Babysitting where Elizabeth Shue continues her romance with whats-his-face while sitting for little Sara the following week? Beat that for a terrible sequel idea!

If they made a third Terminator movie, that would be horrible.

Argh mateys, I predict ye olde captain Sydlexia approaching carrying a shitstorm for talking shit about T3. Arghh.

I've said it before though, I liked it better than the first Terminator.

You want a terrible sequel idea? How about a sequel to The Land Before Time. I can't believe no one has thought of that. Laughing

Forrest Gump 2 Steve Jobs steals all of Forrest's Apple stock options and Forrest has a midlife crisis breakdown which involves heavy drinking, poorly thought out and even poorer executed plastic surgery, and heavy meth abuse with Lieutenant Dan. The whole thing eventually spirals into a series of Vietnam flashbacks and Forrest ends up killing little Forrest with ping pong paddle. Also Forrest will be inserted in to lots of famous footage from the early 90s and 2000s.

Sling Blade 2 Three and a half hours of Karl staring out the window ignoring JT Walsh while he drags around that fucking chair in the loony bin and talks to everyone else about bush.

Metallica: Some Kind Of Monster 2 A double disc set featuring six hours of unreleased fucking around in the studio with pro-tools, rehearsals of shitty songs, cancer inducing lyrical brainstorming sessions, and everyone's favorite, crybaby therapy time with ex band members and family.

Bonus features include:

* My Life Style, Determines My Death Style In Depth: A Thrilling introductory to turning toddler logic into heavy metal lyrics.

* Lars being a prick: now with more terrible paintings!

* The fruity therapist who thought he was in the band: secret gag demo sessions revealed!

Forrest Gump 2

There actually was a book sequel to Forrest Gump called "Gump and Co." and according to Wikipedia the film is due in 2012.
Quote:
As in the first book, Gump stumbles through important American events in the 1980s and early 1990s. He plays football for the New Orleans Saints, sells encyclopedias door-to-door, works on a pig farm, and helps develop the infamous New Coke. He accidentally crashes the Exxon Valdez, helps destroy the Berlin Wall, and fights in Operation Desert Storm with his friend, an orangutan named Sue. He meets many celebrities, including Colonel Oliver North, the Ayatollah Khomeini, John Hinckley, Jim Bakker, Ivan Boesky, Ronald Reagan, Saddam Hussein, Bill and Hillary Clinton, and Tom Hanks (who plays Forrest in the movie).

The sequel's storyline keeps to the storyline of the immensely successful 1994 film version of Forrest Gump, by having Jenny die. A film adaptation of the book is planned to be released in Christmas 2012.

Well fuck me, I guess I'm not allowed to talk about how it's great because they'll never make a fucking sequel.

Also, fights in Operation Desert Storm with his friend, an orangutan named Sue Oh COME ON! Rolling Eyes

Eh, I took my shot. And independent of the film itself, a sequel -was- a bad idea.

Benjamin Button 2: A sequel where he's reborn as a child and ages forward like a normal person

Gremlins 3: A prequel where Gizmo lives a normal life with other maguais and everthing is cute and cuddly to appeal to 5 year olds

Demolition Man 2: In a future where things are rather moderate and normal and Stallone decides to take up boxing. (It could also be called Rocky VII)

Passion of the Christ 2: This Time it's Personal! It will feature a Jesus Christ who's done with the 'nice guy' act. Actually that might be a pretty good idea, I'd see it.

Movies that make sense of the episode IV, V, VI structure of the Star Wars movies. Why the hell did they start at IV? Were there plays for the first 3? Books, perhaps? But either way, I think all they could do with movies like that is ruin the myth that surrounds them.

Oh wait.
