That sucks. My dad actually knew her. He's a pilot, and she was a passenger on one of his planes back in the day. Sad indeed.

Tammy Faye Bakker Messner

Yes, she was a televangelist who used charity money to support her opulent lifestyle, and yes, she married a sodomite, and yes, she was addicted to presription medication, but when asked about her experience on the Surreal Life, living with Ron Jeremy, she basically said that while she didn't agree with what he did for a living, he was one of the nicest people she had ever met and was happy to have had the chance to know him. That, and she's not homophobic. The Religious Right could use more people like her.

Director Ingmar Bergman, dead at 89.

Bergman is perhaps best known for his film The Seventh Seal, which of course is better known as That Film That The Grim Reaper Escapes From In The Last Action Hero.

I know he's not considered a celebrity, but former 49ers head coach Bill Walsh died today.

Tom Snyder also went down.

You know, I could've sworn Bergman was already dead... I guess he finally lost to the Grim Reaper. Sad

Tom Snyder and Bill Walsh? Damn.

Bill Walsh was, I feel , one of the greatest football coaches in history, and was a huge pull for me becoming a 49ers fan when I was younger.

Tom Snyder, I hated him and his show, but I'd still watch it. I'm not sure why, but it became a part of me.

May they ride on the wings of the Heavenly Dragon.

When I think of Tom Snyder, all I can think of the bit on The Critic where he interviewed fictitious rock star Johnny Wrath.

Actually, his name is BRIAN Adams.

BRYAN Adams is that crappy singer that Canada needs to apologize for.

Brian Adams was one half of my favorite tag team EVER, KroniK. He suffered a career-ending spinal injury at the hands of Rey Mysterio in a match in Japan in 2003. At the time of his death, he was employed as Randy Savage's personal bodyguard.

Bryan Clark cannot be pleased with this turn of events.

Neither can the Pro Wrestling business in general. Since, you know the media will be all over it, as another "Drugs/Steroids/etc in Pro Wrestling kills people" story.

Also dead: Brooke Astor, the civic leader, philanthropist and high society fixture who gave away nearly $200 million to support New York City's great cultural institutions and a host of humbler projects, died Monday. She was 105.

Can you really call an artist who does a duet with a Spice Girl "crappy"? I think not.

With a Spice Girl? Since when has that been any sort of indication of some kind of advanced musicianship?

I got your back homie:

Canadian Representative: Our government has apologized for Bryan Adams on several occasions!

LOL. And I personally like Bryan Adams. Maybe cause im a big pansy and I like the songs he made for the movie Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and his 'waking up the neighbors' album.
