I'm currently in the home stretch of Dragon Warrior III, although I'll be going into my 18th day of playing it when the Sun's up. That's longer in days (not sure about hours) than I've worked on most, if any, Final Fantasy games I've finished. Hell, I even logged less days on Okami. My party consists of, as mandated, the Hero (Male, Pasquale), a Pilgrim (Female, Courtney), a Wizard (Male, Stanford) and a Sage, formerly a Goof-Off (Male, Lawrence). When Lawrence reached Level 41 this evening, I was under the impression that he'd have a complete spellbook with Sacrifice and Transform like Courtney and Stanford, respectively, did when they reached that level. However, when the time came, he only learned Sacrifice. This led me to believe that he must learn Transform at a higher level than Stanford did, so I've been grinding to get at that level since then. He's at level 42 and there's still that blank spot in his spellbook. None of the info I've found on GameFAQs indicates that this should be, so I'm asking if anyone here knows if my theory is correct, if the Sage never learns Transform or if it's a glitch. If you have an answer, my sanity will thank you to come forward with it.
