Dungeons is a game being developed by Realmforge Studios and published by Kalypso Media Digital. Realmforge Studios is known for... well... nothing. On the other hand, Kalypso is known for some stuff... but nothing really notable other than Tropico.

So from game makers that have a fairly uneventful track record, an interesting concept for a game was developed.

A dungeon crawl! Well... kinda. An inverted dungeon crawl is more like it.

You play the dungeon lord rather than the heroes. Your goal is to stop the heroes by arming your dungeon with enemies, traps, and bribes for those more difficult heroes.

Sounds interesting to me.

So its basically a more advanced version of the Final Fantasy My life as a dark lord on the Wii? That game is fun, maybe I'll pick this up.

This is basically Dungeon Keeper. If you don't remember Dungeon Keeper, kill yourself.

Didn't have a decent computer back then so I didn't ever get it. It wasn't until like 2001-2002 that I really got into computer gaming, when I built my first computer. Hard to play anything on the shitty Gateway we had for the longest time, Everquest actually caused it to overheat lol. I'll have to see if I can't find a copy of Dungeon Keeper.

I only pray they do as well with it as the original DK. I loved playing that game during my childhood.

One of the greatest and most original games of the 90s. This new one looks exactly like Dungeon Keeper as if it's a remake which is cool, but kind of derivative. The graphics don't look much improved either which is weird.

Yeah if you watch the trailer on steam, most of the game-play actually looked kinda choppy, certainly agree the graphics are outdated.

I looks like a total rip-off unless its people who worked on the original and are moving the idea forward. Even had the little Imps running around mining, except they were called Goblins now.
