I don't actually follow the charts at all because i find the music boring, uninspired and generally it doesn't appeal to me.

However i do hear this music when i'm about and about.

It seems people on the video are questioning how well it functions as a Top 40 song. Although i think all Top 40 is shit this is catchy. I think i will be going UP UP UP UP UP for days now.

Though i've already said the song isn't all that makes it successful. This is mere speculation here because like i said i know little about it. I'm sure the way the music is marketed and sold effects its place and more importantly than that and even the song: Who performs the song.

Like if these guys released that it wouldn't sell but say i dunno "insert whoever is popular in top 40 here" released the song or performed on it, it would perform better.

So i think they did a good job, though thats based on my limited knowledge of it.
