So I'm assuming, that A) You have to listen the to the whole Album B) Look at the cover image or image on the CD and through the lyrics sheet C) Look for a coded messages in the lyrics and between the songs and D) Repeat until everything clicks.
Color me intrigued but with the service discontinued, it seems difficult to get on confirmation it.

I would laugh if all of the clues are pointing to the album itself (music and all) being a sort of treasure map. Does it mention any locations of any sort? On the cover art, inside labels, or the music?

I actually looked at this again recently as well. Not only are they responsible for many, many innovations in the music recording industry, but Pink Floyd also invented guerrilla marketing!
