Short story, but the jist of it is...

If you haven't heard, Brazil is getting crazy flooding and the death toll is rising.

A really heart-wrenching photo of a dog laying next to its owner's grave.

The dog has been there for two days and refuses to leave.

Really sad Sad

Sehkmaenzo you're in Brazil if I remember correctly. My thoughts and condolences go out to you and anyone you know who is effected by this.

It's all over the news over here, I didn't know it had made it across the borders.
Yeah, it's been quite harsh for some people. It hasn't hit my mother's side of the family by 200 miles or so, but that could change. The landslides, combined with the flood, make it extra hard for people to leave or be rescued, so these people have nowhere to go.
Thankfully, the networks here have been very through when it comes to raising awareness, and the situation seems to be improving. As of the last update, people who can't leave the area are no longer starving or lacking water (they only lack personal hygiene products and that kind of stuff).
Of course, all those families in the area lost everything. I hope the news keep covering their situations after the worst part has passed. As soon as it leaves the news, the donations are going to plummet :/

I hadn't heard anything on the news about this, which is troubling. Stay safe down there, Sekh!

Reminds me of that one episode of Futurama where Fry's dog waits for him in outside his work after he gets frozen.

It is one of the saddest things I have ever seen.

There's a famous dog in Japan that waited at the train station for his owner for nine years after the man had died.
