Oh yeah, double prize here I come. Looks like I need the Jets and the Bears to win next week to seal it.

Always awesome to see Tom Brady and the Cheatriots lose. Guess they came in a little overconfident like the Saints did to the Seahawks. Today I am a Jets fan and will put up with them being from New York for winning tonight.

Now as long as the Steelers lose, I might actually watch the Super Bowl.

Then to see the Jets DESTROY the Bears Smile

Ah, it's so nice to see arrogance get punished so badly. I hate Belichick and think he's a huge douchebag so it was very fun to see the Pats get beat up on by the Jets, especially after the arrogance of Belichick sitting Welker in the first quarter for no reason ("Bah, we don't need our best receiver") and then having a slow 7:45 drive in the 4th quarter despite being down 10 points ("Pssh, 10 points is nothing, no need to rush")

Serves 'em right. Go Jets.

Either you have a very different definition of "arrogant", or you are very confused as to which team was the douchebag team that week.

In fact, he sat Welker to start because he -responded- to the cock-waving the Jets were doing.

Brady was pretty arrogant before that game to be honest. Rather than watch the Jets game the previous week he chose to go see a play and the Pats wonder why they lost. Sure the Jets talked all kinds of shit in the media but I thought it actually made a game I otherwise could have cared less about worth watching. The only interest I had in the game at all was hoping that the Patriots lose because I just don't like them much due to their past actions. That wasn't enough to make me actively watch it but when the firing back and forth happened I actually wanted to see what went down. While the Jets were slightly arrogant I personally felt it was more them having fun and being confident in themselves than complete arrogance. Plus the Cheatriots would have acted the same way if they had won because they have in the past.

I know why he sat Welker and I know Rex Ryan is a HUGE douchenozzle; I hate him too. However, my comments were focused on Belichick's arrogance during the game. It's simply arrogance (I don't really know what other word I could use) to clearly tell the world you don't need your best receiver for an entire quarter in a playoff game, and to calmly chew up half of the 4th quarter on a non-scoring drive despite being down two possessions.

It's arrogance to see that situation and declare, "We're the Pats, the highest scoring team in the league - we don't need to rush."

Fair enough (though I thought Welker only sat on the first drive). I completely agree that the 4th quarter drive was absolutely mind-boggling.

Unless my math is off, I think this contest is over with a Valdronius victory.

Vald, Tomdincan, PM me your e-mails so I can send out the prizes.

Thanks to everyone for participating.

If my math is wrong, just ignore this message, mmmkay?

I would have preferred the Jets won. A $10 gift is not as nice as an almost guaranteed win for the Packers.

Congrats. As much as it pains me to say this, I hope the Packers win the Super Bowl. Even though I'm not a Bears fan I've lived in Illinois too long to like the Packers at all, but I think I dislike the Steelers more. It comes down to which QB I like more and that is Aaron Rodgers.

I don't hate the team I just hate the fans. The only fans I have ever witnessed that cheer for a 2 yard gain like it was a forty yard touchdown run. Also Steeler fans your towels either need to be dusted off or changed because I'm sick of particles from your towels flying into my food and drink.

I was thinking the same thing before I saw Douche's post. I don't really hate the Steelers, I just hate the smug fucking fans.

There is a difference though, those fans do it when the game is close or when it seals a victory or some other cheer worthy aspect. Steeler fans will cheer for a 2 yard run on 3rd and 8, when they are on there own 22 yard line and up by 28 points.

In our area for some reason Buffalo is considered our local market even though we are in PA and much closer to Pittsburgh, hell we are even closer to Cleveland, regardless the games are not usually on TV so the bars are packed with Steeler fans, God forbid your team plays the Steelers and wins.

Not a racial thing but I've heard speculation about why that is. Apparently mexicans who lived in Texas became Cowboy fans, then while migrating to Arizona they brought their horrible decision (Sorry Hawk) with them. Atleast thats what SportsRadio thinks is the reason.
