While DQ 4 and 5 were confirmed to be remade for the DS, 6's fate looked less clear. However, all worry has been quashed with the announcement that DQ IV will be coming out for the first time in North America come Valentine's Day.

I'm still busy with DQ IX, but I'm planning on picking up 5 and probably 6 as well, since they're the only ones I haven't played/beaten.

I just learned that apparently when any of the following games:
* Dragon Quest IX
* Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2
* Dragon Quest VI

detects one of the others via tag mode, it unlocks new content for all games involved. Apparently this is such an interesting and successful setup, that Nintendo will be wiring it into the 3DS firmware.

No idea if the eventual DQ X on the Wii will do this as well, but it's certainly possible.

Whoops, thought it already had. Since IX is out and VI is coming out, I assume they'll try and bring Joker 2 over as well.
