So I have Half Life: Source (as opposed to regular Half Life), and for some reason, the listed console commands for cheats don't work. I've Googled around, but have had no luck finding a solution. I bring up the console, type sv_cheats 1 which works, but then when I try the /noclip command, it keeps getting rejected. Whassupwitdat?

For the curious: I realized after watching a video I'm making that I passed a point of interest without realizing it. However, I'm passed the no-return point to go back, and the only way to check it out would be with noclip. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried typing noclip without the / in front of it? I don't have half-life installed right now but /noclip doesn't work in CS:S while noclip does. I just tested it lol.

Booting up HL:Source as one types.

EDIT:

Okay.

I started up.

Activated console.

Sv_cheats 1

Then

Noclip (no slash)

It works. That should be all you need.

Huh. I tried it without the slash too...weird. Let me give it another shot.

EDIT: It took a couple tries, but it finally worked! Turns out the door I was looking at simply backtracked, so I didn't miss much of anything after all, but its nice to have my curiosity assuaged. Thanks!
