I got an assignment Monday of last week to do a report on any point of history within the 1500's-2000's, and I decided on picking the Industrial Revolution, more specifically the European Industrial Revolution, and my teacher asked my to get a list of major currencies during the time period, which was roughly 1700/1750 - Late 1800's/Early 1900's. I haven't been having an easy time finding many, so I come to the forums to ask for help. Any help offered would be greatly appreciated.

Would it be possible to one-up your teacher and focus on Germany unifying and moving to one currency instead of many and what that did for the nation? Although that would probably be even harder to write on.

A lot of Germany used the Thaler, as did a lot of Europe, for a few centuries.
