Has anyone played this? It's a shmup that based its intensity on the music you're listening to. I found about it by accident while looking for Avantasia videos on YouTube. It looks interesting:

It's on Steam and I believe XBLA. And there's a new version, Beat Hazard Ultra, coming out next year.

This game was on sale with 4 other indie games during the Black Friday sales event. Even at $5 for all of the games together, I still couldn't convince myself to buy it.

I did end up getting Chime though.

So what happens when you play blast beat stuff like gridncore or black metal, do you instantly die?

Hmmm I'm tempted to try this now, if only to have a great battle of epic proportions...

These types of games always get my interest, Audiosurf is my personal favorite right now
