The spy treatment is interesting and with the possible exception of Wall-E, I've never been let down by Pixar before. In short, I'm hoping the story holds up.

Fun fact: New character McMissile (the spy car) is designed around James Bond's trademark ride.

I like them both, but between the two I'd rather watch Cars. Must be the NASCAR influence I grew up with.

Wow, I've never heard anyone say they preferred Cars over Wall-E. Wall-E may be the first or second best Pixar movie, while Cars may be the worst. All my opinion, of course.

No, that is absolutely correct gospel as far as I'm concerned. Wall-E is my pick for best animated movie of all time. Or at LEAST best CGI animated movie of all time; it wins that by a mile.

Wall-E is great, I think it lacked punchlines, which may have hurt it in some crowds. Cars was alright, I think it dragged a lot which hurt it, 15-20 minutes shorter probably would have helped it some. Wall-E Pixar's best? Nah. I would have to go with Finding Nemo, though I have yet to see Up which people rave about. Ratatouille would be the worst.

This looks like a plot for a direct-2-DVD sequel, and not a theater release. But, we shall see.

No matter how mediocre I thought Cars was, it made tons of money and it's influence on kids is enormous. Also, the fact that it's being released in theaters on June 24, 2011 in IMAX 3D, Disney Digital 3D and 2D is very easily Googled.

^ Truth. And (although those of you not in SoCal may not be aware of it) Disneyland's across-the-street sister theme park, California Adventure, is building an entire new *land* (not just a ride, but a fully themed land) based on Cars. So yeah, as much as I wasn't a huge fan, apparently somebody was. Disney doesn't limit entire areas to a single brand like that unless it's guaranteed money.

I know it's in theaters, I was saying that the plot seemed more fitting for a D2D or a TV series, than a motion picture.

I might be in the minority, but I thought "The Incredibles" was the best Pixar movie.

The death of Paul Newman makes me less than enthusiastic about this. The voice cast just isn't as good this time around. I mean, I love Michael Caine, but why not Brosnan, Moore, Dalton, or even Connery for that role? Any of those would have been a better fit.
And what about a Newman replacement? We need a legendary American actor in the voice cast, dammit! Why isn't Clint Eastwood in this, voicing a rogue cop car that doesn't play by society's rules?

I kinda think that Wall-E wasn't as good as Cars, which I also don't really like (cheesy CGI). Although i've only seen Wall-E once.

To be honest, I didn't get the chance to watch the video until now (been using cellphone to read forums until them), and I have one thing to say...
HOLY SHIT THEY HAVE GUNS DISNEY'S CARS HAVE FREAKING GUNS!!!
And yes, this surprises me, since the first movie was rather cutesy in general. And from what it looks like it, it's gonna be a movie version of Mater's Tall Tales, only that Lighting McQueen WILL be there too this time.
That being said, I now demand A Twisted Metal/Interstate '76 mod with Disney's Cars in it.

Call me old fashioned, but I always thought the Toy Story Trilogy and A Bug's Life were the best of the Pixar movies.

My order of favorite Pixar movies goes like this:
1. UP (I cried twice, once from laughter, once from sadness)
2. Wall-E (I cried because I loved the relationship they set up)
3. The Incredibles
4. Toy Story 2.
I thought Bug's Life was weird (I was way too young to comprehend it at the time, should see it again) and Toy Story never really got me after I became a teenager. I still like it, but not nearly as much as I used to. Haven't seen Toy Story 3, yet.

To agree with those who have said it, UP is easily my favorite Pixar movie, followed by Toy Story 3, Wall-E, other Toy Stories, blah blah blah, and Cars it at the bottom.
I hated Cars, most likely because I don't like racing to begin with, but to be honest, it just felt...off. I'm not quite sure how to describe it, but it just feels like no real love went into making it, like it was incredibly forced. So yeah, I guess I won't be seeing a new Pixar movie in 2011, which is disappointing because ever since they went on yearly releases, I've seen them all in theaters.
