So aside from just the TV series, they are releasing three films based off the books to coincide the TV show. I'm looking forward to this but I hope it doesn't become a good book to a bad movie to a bad TV situation...

No. Just no. There's no way they can adapt that book series into a TV series and have it be even a little bit good or true the source without a massive budget and like seven seasons to do it in.

You do realize that the TV 'series' is really just filler inbetween the movies so that we aren't completely confused when the next one comes out. They wouldn't dare mess with it and make it into a series entirely. -shakes fist-

Yeah but still, three movies (are these TV movies or movie movies btw?) and a series still won't be enough.

I'm assuming that these would be movie movies... what with the subtle hints in other more recent films

Whatever. This entire series was a massive letdown to me, especially the last book.
