Apparently Cartoon Network is going to start showing an animated series based on the Young Justice comic book. The debut episode will air November 26th, with the official start to the show in January.

The full details are here of course: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Young_Justice_(TV_series)

Overview of the cast:
Aqualad, team leader (voiced by Khary Payton who did Cyborg's voice in Teen Titans)
Robin (Dick Grayson, voiced by Jesse McCartney)
Flash (Wally West)
Miss Martian (voiced by Winnie Cooper)
Arrowette instead of Artemis
Superboy (voiced by Nolan North who you may know from such voices as Deadpool in MvC3, the Prince in Prince of Persia, Desmond Miles in Assassin's Creed, and Nathan Drake in Uncharted. He also voices Superman in the show)

Rob Lowe voices Captain Marvel and Marina Sirtis voices Queen Bee.

Changes in the cast are to be expected due to character deaths, including those of major characters.

Edit: 5 minutes from Comic Con

Also, DC's character is called Shazam, not Captain Marvel, for copyright reasons.

So how come he's called Captain Marvel in Justice League Unlimited and Batman: The Brave and the Bold? Does the copyright just extend to print?

To my understanding, Marvel acquired the rights to the name Captain Marvel (and the trademark) during the period of time that the trademark had expired due to DC suing Fawcett comics because they claimed Captain Marvel (Billy Batson/Shazam!/whatevs) was a rip-off of Superman. For promotional purposes and marketing, DC calls him Shazam (not to be confused with the wizard Shazam, who actually served as Marvel's mentor/empowerer before he was killed by the Spectre during Infinite Crisis)

Edit- Also, IMO, they should've made Robin Tim Drake. I have to disagree heartily that Tim is/was the only good Robin, though; Dick set the standard, Jason Todd, yeah, he was lame but at least he's better as the Red Hood, and Damien Wayne, while a brat, is really funny.

That's right, she's also the new Batgirl, which is a pretty solid read to be honest. She ends up in Birds of Prey a few times too.
