That was great! I loved the show and the first two. The stunts look RIDICULOUS!

Who wants to bet 80% of the 3D shots will be of Steve-O's junk struggling to escape that putrid mankini he wears?

I thought the same thing. You will probably see the 1st 3D penis on the big screen during that movie.

It would seem killing 3-d is sort of their intention, with such an unusual movie to be made 3d.

I'm still confused by all the hate for 3-D. You can watch all of these movies in 2-D if you want to. Let those who want to see it in 3-D pay the extra couple of bucks to do so.
The Real3-D looks good to me. When movies are shot using 3-D cameras, rather than retro-fitting 3-D to films, I find the effect to be very good and it adds entertainment value. Plus, the technology will just continue to improve. This isn't the shitty 3-D of even a couple of years ago.
I love the first two Jackasses, and I will definitely be seeing this one...most likely in 3-D.

I will never understand why people hate jackass so much. It is never pretending to be something it's not. People falling and puking, that's what they promise and deliver.

Kill 3D? This is the only movie I've ever wanted to watch in 3D.
Klimb, I can partially answer your question about the hate for 3D. Yes you can see a movie in 2D but it seems like many scenes and camera shots are specifically done with 3D in mind which can ruin a movie. Case in point: The Final Destination.
Shake it, Quake it, Space Kaboom.

If you went to see The Final Destination expecting a good movie, that's your own fault. 3D had nothing to do with making that suck.
I think he meant that there are movies that are using 3D in a good way, as in enhancing the environment in order to immerse the viewer into it (This is the only good praise I'll give Avatar, live with it), and then there are movies that are using 3D in the exact same way when the effect was cheesy and/or bad years ago, i.e. "Ooooh! Finger's coming at me!!!", with a few exceptions in which they want that cheesy feeling in the first place (ex: Pirahna 3D).
My only frustration is that I would never go to a theater to see another Jackass movie. I saw the first one that way, but always felt that it was much more fun to watch with friends. Until 3D movies are doable at home for a reasonable price without glasses, I am happy to watch 2D flicks.

My wife and I are still on the fence about going to see this in 3-D because with the last few 3-D movies we've seen, it's made us horrendously sick. Like, I threw up after leaving My Bloody Valentine 3-D, that bad. That said, we went and saw Jackass 2 when it came out in theatres and it was hilarious. Tough choice.

I will be seeing this in Theatres, In 3-D. I love the Show Jackass, and the movies even more. They have total Freedom at that point.

I imagine the problem is with the last couple is that they were shot in 2d and later converted. This movie has been shot in 3d so it should be easier on the eyes.

I have no problem with Jackass when they are getting hurt and shit. It's when they start showing ball sacks and asses for no reason that makes me question what heterosexual man could get enjoyment out of it anymore.

My Bloody Valentine was the first and only movie I saw in 3D. The 3D in it was kind of shitty, but so was the movie in general.

I personally didn't like the one jackass movie I saw, since I pay close attention when i watch films, and I'm fairly confident that some of the "pranks" and stunts are just people acting. Like I wonder if that short guy, at the end of the clip we just saw, really thought it was "that funny" when that guy got hit by the "high 5" or they just asked him to exaggerate, or for that matter how many takes they did of that to get it right. Some events maybe be legitimate other scenes I think they're fake.

I loved the first two Jackass movies. My favorite stunt was probably the one where they locked Bam in the trailer with a King Cobra, and he started crying (not that I wouldn't do the same).

I'm sorry guys I just enjoy movies more than you, since I actually watch them.

I thought this thread was going to be about a new Jaws movie.
I didn't mean it that way. I am glad they're doing this movie in 3D, I think potentially it could look really cool.

Fucking agreed! I'm planning on making this my first 3D movie since my dad took me to Universal Studios a decade ago as a kid where we saw the T2 thing and that part of The Crows.
I actually welcome the 3D revolution (preferably without glasses) with open arms personally, and it's here to stay for at least the next 10-15 years at least. Though, 2D should never be phased out, of course, so we won't have to think about the plight of the one-eyed people or the ones with general bad vision or motion sickness.
As for what I wanna see in Jackass 3D, I'd want a more epic version of the golf cart racing sequence or something similar but new... other than that, I want everything to be a surprise.
