Is anyone else going to see this? It's one of the payments I'm making to the wife in advance so she'll go with me to see Green Lantern on July 17th, 2011. I think it's worth it.

Probably not. When I was reading about this movie it was originally going to be rated R and they toned it down to get a PG-13. Given what the movie is about an R rating would probably be a better/funnier movie.

I'll probably rent it though.

Saw this tonight. The funny parts were really funny, but there were a lot serious moments. I'd be interested to see the unrated cut on DVD.

I agree, it was really funny anytime they tried, but it was much more of a drama than I was expecting; I figured it'd be a straight comedy.

Yeah, I was surprised by how much I liked this movie. A bit more serious than your usual teenage fare, and a couple parts really caught me off guard.

Ended up going to see this. I really enjoyed it and liked the 80's movie references too.
