Press Start is now a mobile series! I recently signed a deal with a mobile content distributor to release Press Start toons for cell phones, and very soon they'll be available through several major distributors.

Press Start Adventures is essentially a repackaged version of "Bonus Levels". I've revamped the existing episodes, tightening them up and adding lots of new music and sound, and the result is great. But what's more, we've also got ten more episodes in production.

That's an excellent question. They'll make their way online eventually, but I'm not sure if it'll be like the Lost mobisodes or if I'll put them out after the whole season has run. I'll keep you posted, though.

There may be a Press Start Adventures DVD, which would include both seasons, and hopefully some bonus materials as well. I've still got a bunch of interview footage for Bonus Levels that I couldn't squeeze into the Making-Of featurette on the Press Start DVD.

Incidentally, I've got a new series in the works as well, and it's totally not Press Start-related. Pre-production starts on that in earnest next month, so hopefully I'll have something to show you before long.

I'll have to get back to you on that; unfortunately at the moment I don't have a list of the carriers who'll have it.

As soon as I do, though, I'll post it.

Just put out the press release as well. The key news is that David Humphrey (Sonic Adventure 2's Shadow the Hedgehog) will be returning as Lord Vlad for several of the new episodes.

Okay, so this has been in the works for a while now, I know. RoboGirl took priority recently, but I was also waiting on dialogue from some of my guest actors. Anyhow, we're finally gearing up for a new season of Press Start cartoons!

Originally these were intended to go directly to mobile, but since the original episodes don't seem to be out there yet at all, I have a sneaking suspicion that I'll be making these available to watch online as well. We're still talking a few months before any of them are ready to go (our writer/animator is getting married next month and that definitely takes priority), but they're coming for sure!
