How do I remove a band, show, or movie from my profile on Facebook? They changed my profile on me when I wasn't paying attention....

#EDIT: Unliking something removes it from the category. Is there anyway to do it besides this? I "liked" a lot of my friends' crappy bands back when liking didn't autolink bands to your musical interests. I don't want to "unlike" these bands and hurt their feelings, but I also don't want them showing up as bands I listen to... because I don't.

Edit your profile information and remove the items in question from your interests. Unliking something won't leave a notification anywhere.

I wish Facebook didn't make it so easy to keep in touch with all the high school and college friends I don't get to see anymore; it's the only thing keeping me from deleting my account.

I wanted to unlink without unliking. Sadly, not possible.

While we are on the subject, I really wish I could "dislike" people's statuses or comments since they give you the ability to "like" them.

I suppose they think that this would create too much negativity or hostility.

As much as I want such a feature, you know that within a week of its implementation some kid is going to kill himself because one of his friends thought it would be funny to Dislike everything in his profile. I hate children.
