This whole premise is bullcrap. Elroy builds a time machine? Fine. Even though language has changed dramatically between Prehistory and the 21st Century, they communicate with ease? Whatever. The real F'er is that MAYBE the Jetsons could survive in Bedrock, but if the Flintstones suddenly found themselves transported to the Skypad Apartments, they'd probably suffer from pulmonary or cerebral edema due to the elevation and sudden exposure to thin air. If they survived that, the evolved bacteria and viral strains would probaly get 'em.

Thank you for pointing out the scientific inaccuracies that the silly cartoons from the 60's had... Rolling Eyes

Announcer: Coming up next, The Flintstones meet The Jetsons.
Bart: Uh oh. I smell another cheap cartoon crossover.
Homer: Bart Simpson, meet Jay Sherman, the critic.
Jay: Hello.
Bart: Hey man, I really love your show. I think all kids should watch it! [turns away] Ew, I suddenly feel so dirty.

I couldn't find the clip, so this will have to do.

Universal translators, climate control, and anti-bacterial sterilization.

They would need temporal translators. Invest in Rosetta Stone and Purell!
...and I don't see how it could be climate controlled; the Jetsons open windows all the time and even let Astro walk outside on the tredmill.

Global warming man, at that time period, it's probably a balmy 70 something degrees at that elevation.

Yeah really, that lame cross over sullied the proud tradition of scientific accuracy that both The Flintstones and The Jetsons strove to maintain. It's an outrage!

Tell me about it. I had always planned on getting a PhD in Engineering by writing on the realistic mechanics of The Jetsons and their possible futuristic devices. William Hanna and Joseph Barbera would've been excellent cited sources.
