Anybody ever play OMF2097 for the PC back in The Day(TM)? I used to play the demo obsessively as a kid. That game blew my mind. Not that it was especially groundbreaking, but it was completely absorbing, with fantastic music.

It's about 12 years old.

It was a fighting game, but with robots. And you won money to upgrade them. For more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_Must_Fall:_2097

Well, it's freeware, so I'll try it.

I always had fun playing the demo back in the day. Beware of the electric cage.

I love this fucking game. It's one of the few shareware games I actually paid money for because it was just that good. The hidden Rehit Mode is what made the game for me, I loved all the wacky juggles that were possible.

I tried using the game, but the sound was fucked up and DOS kept crashing. I guess it won't work.

Holy crap, I remember this game. My friend had it. I didn't play it much though, as I prefered his shareware versions of warpath and capitalism.

PS. Capitalism 2 rocks. if you play it, hit me up.

Yeah, to play it nowadays, you'd probably need a better DOS emulator like DOSBox.

I remember the original demo of One Must Fall, and it was a Street Fighter 2 rip off, with these two Ryu look-a-likes. And, then the full game came out and suddenly it was robots fighting. I was like, when did this turn into "Iron & Lace: Battle of the Robo Babes?"

But, then I played it, and it was far better then Metal and Lace, even if there was no nudity.

I got that game on a disc with four other games: Mystic towers (you help some old dude fins shit, pretty addictive), Hocus Pocus (one of my most favorite games ever) and a certain Jazz Jackrabbit...anyone remember these relics?
