Damnit, you're right. In my excitement I was hoping for a new sequel, like the joy of hearing about Golden Sun DS (and I'm still waiting on that to come out). Title's changed accordingly.

I would definitely consider getting this game if it is done well and I rarely ever buy anything for the DS.

What exactly is an Action RPG though compared to what Lufia II was originally?

FUCK THIS!!!! Lufia II must not be tainted with this shit. Action RPG is among the lines of Zelda, if this game is like Zelda I will puke in my mouth bitch for months and then say these bastards are not getting my money. Then 4 months later I will end up purchasing this whore, and state "If they were going to do this to Lufia II they might as well just made a new Lufia to add to the series instead of tainting one of the most perfect RPG's in history."</rant>

I loved Lufia II. Since I played that first, I could never play all the way through the first Lufia due mainly to its very one-dimensional dungeons. This might be good and it might not. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Well, I'm not feeling that optimistic about this game. If they are going to go this route, it probably should have been with a new title.

It's been a long 14-15 years but Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals is finally being remade on the DS!!! So far I don't know much apart from it being released in Japan back in February, it's due to be released in the States sometime this fall!

Crap. When I heard about a Lufia game for the DS I was excited... but, if it is basically just a remake, I am less so.

Douche, I hate you, but you are correct.

This is going to be a horror and if the linked video is any indication, a game that was a ton of fun has been fucked in the ass by Square's developer's childish sense of anime bullshit.
