The Elite Eight has begun!
This heavyweight matchup features Valdronius and RossRifle vs Syd Lexia and Knyte.
Vald's N' Ross' come into this matchup after defeating GregtheWhite and Drew Linky 30-18 in the first round, and narrowly defeating Char Aznable and Mr. Bomberman 34-32 in the second round.
Cecil's Slime Knights beat aeonic and Shut Up, Dorn 35-26 in the first round, and Lordsathien and Nekkoru 38-34 in the second round.
The matchups are obviously tightening up, and I expect the same in this one.

I'll reiterate the same thing that helped me win in the Forum Battle against Syd last year, hopefully it'll help Vald and Ross this year...
Yes, this is Syd's site, yes, without Syd, this forum wouldn't exist, but really... Do you want Syd to win a battle on his own site? Is the site owner winning what is, at heart, a popularity contest really all that big of a deal? I'd rather see one of the forumers win, and I'm sure Syd wants that, too. Wouldn't you rather see two guys with shiny new Forum Champion titles, rather than just Knyte?

I for one enjoy the theory that Syd is really Sean Baby in a wig, and that RoG is really just Syd in a pickle hat, it's some sort of conspiracy that doesn't make any sense!
