Hello everybody! While brainstorming for cool stuff to do for the Forum Battle, Fern and I thought it would be fun if we could create something everyone could enjoy. However, we are not programmers, so a ROMHack was out of the question. But! I sure played the hell out of Chutes and Ladders as a kid. So, we decided to make a SydLexia version of it for everyone to enjoy. It's fairly self-explanatory, so I won't waste anymore of your time. Just know that we made it with the Forumers in mind, and I hope it brings many of you together in a spirit of unity.

And here's a Klimbatize promise! If you want to play against a live opponent, simply come into the IRC (the link's in my signature) and if I'm in there challenge me. The bot has a dice feature. We'll have a grand ol' time.

Yes, it is AM. In a word, this SUCKS. If I could pick one team I didn't want to face, it would be the Polluters. They are awesome. It sucks that two prominent IRC teams have to face off these soon in the battle. Fig and Tardis are the two guys I talk to the most in there, so this is a bittersweet moment. I think this will produce some good smack talk, but it also means some of us are done in 3 days. Drag.

With that out of the way, vote for the IRC Revolution. Fern maintains the chat bot that has kept so many of us entertained, and he has kept that IRC room in line for as long as he's been on the site. That's a tough task given the high number of trolls we get, and the presense of Dr. Jeebus in there.

Also, though I am very new to the forums, I try to be a productive member. I offered to help Satsui run the Forum Battle, and only CB did more planning than me for the current Porn-Off. That was a labor of love and I work hard on it every single day, making sure that someone is around to post the nightly polls. Yes, Redhead #2 was a trainwreck, but at least she was an entertaining trainwreck. I will do better in the future.

Not much else to say right now. One thing I can offer, is an ongoing game of Truth or Dare (minus the Dare). Come into the IRC chatroom any time over the course of the Forum Battle and ask me anything. I will be brutally honest, no matter how embarassing. It's easy for me to do. I barely have a filter. Also, how are we contenders to win it all? I'm a freaking asshole newbie. Fern's pulling the weight here. It's like a 1 v 2 every round.

Fig is throwing around quite a bit of libel here. Or slander. Or both. I don't even know where to begin...so I won't. Nobody cares about this petty stuff.

When considering who to vote for, I hope you take into account the one team is actually trying to bring something to table, trying to entertain you for just a few moments, and is at least putting a little bit of effort into their campaigns. The Forum Battle is great when everyone is coming up with creative stuff. It doesn't necessarily have to be good (believe me, I know shitty), but it should at least show a little heart.

Also, anyone who comes into the IRC knows that I don't whore my love out for votes. That was tongue-in-cheek, and I'm one of the nicest cats in there.

Oh, I would never say you and Tardis aren't friendly in there. You absolutely are...because you're not an OP. Fern has to put the trolls in line every once in a while. He has to play the 'bad' guy and ban annoying spammers and trolls. If you or I were in that position we'd have to run it similarly. If not, the place would be overrun and wouldn't exist, quite frankly. In fact, if it weren't for Fern there may not even be a SydLexia IRC room. Syd himself let it expire a couple of times. But now it's a great place to kill some time and chat about video games, movies, music, or whatever is happening on the forums at the time.

It's that way because of Fern's strict hand with morons and trolls. If he let them run free it would be an uninhabitable place. It's easy to sit from a place of no power (like you and me) and judge someone's temperament...but we both know that if he didn't run it the way he does it wouldn't be the awesome place it is today.

The only people who complain about Fern's attitude are the trolls and morons, like JonSnow. Fern does the dirty work, and we reap the benifits.

Also, I apologize to everyone for the lame smack talk in this thread so far. We'll try to supe it up more as we go.
