So who here remembers this game? This is by far my favorite mario RPG along with partners in time and bowser's inside story and kept me addicted for years. So, tell me what you thought of the game, or any other mario RPGs.

It was pretty fun, but I never finished it. I'll have it done eventually.
I also own the next two in the story, though I haven't played Partners in Time.
The last thing I did in Bowser's Inside Story was get an A in that challenge with the shell. Such a fucking pain in the ass.

That was never really a problem for me, since I somehow kicked princess shroob's ass with just one red shell in partners in time. I don't even know how I could keep attack items going so long.

Yea, I love all the Mario and Luigi RPG games. They are full of life and really utilize the Mario Universe well.
I feel the Mario RPGs were at their best on the console, Thousand Year Door is still my favorite game out of the them all.

Superstar Saga was most excellent. Better than Seven Stars? Nope, but close. Better than Paper Mario? Now that's a tough one. I'd say Paper Mario by a fraction of a hair.
I own all the Mario RPGs with the exception of Super Paper Mario. I've beaten all of them except Thousand Year Door (Don't know why. I thought it was pretty good), Partners in Time (Got to the final boss, got my ass kicked, and got bored with grinding), and Bowser's Inside Story (Same as Thousand Year Door).
Is it bad if I like the Mario RPGs better than over half of the Final Fantasies?

i have played all the handheld and console mario rpg's. i havent beat superstar saga yet, i started it about a month ago, and just stopped.
i havent beat bowsers inside story either. im stuck in some part where i have to flick the helicopter bros back & forth to make bowser sneeze. its annoying more so than difficult
i just picked up super paper mario and im on chapter 3 so far. pretty good from what i have played..
imo, the handheld games were more fun vs the console ones. not that the console ones werent fun, but if you had to make me choose i would go handheld

I liked SS better because it was completely different than other rpg. I liked how you actually had to press a button to dodge attacks instead of some random number doing it for you.

There were also gba versions of doom and DN3D that actually pretty good. There were even FPS adaptations of ecks vs. sever that were close to a hundred times better than the actual movie. If they had just slapped a warning that says "for mature players only" for FPS ports on snes, NoA wouldn't have had the right to go wild with the censoring.
Crap i'm going off topic...
