Bah. I'm being dragged to this (sort of). I realize the movies are absolutely outrageous and terrible (I enjoyed the books immensely, the movies are a testament to failure), and yet... I have to see them, it's like looking at a train wreck.
However... if critics are anything to go by--and I realize they're not--then this will be a decent sequel. We'll see on Wednesday.

Sat through Twilight for the train-wreck. That was enough to convince me I don't need to see New Moon or Eclipse. HOWEVER, I will be FIRST in line for the fourth one. Nothing like watching Bella get her spine and legs broken by her superbaby. Not to mention that Vampire-tooth cesarean

Because it allows us to look forward to the fourth one, where one of two things will happen: a) they will be faithful to the book, in which case parents will be horrified and pissed, or b) they WON'T be faithful, in which case the terrifying mob of tween fans will be horrified and pissed off. Win/win scenario in my book either way. (Although personally I'm rooting for the former.)

they should event a new genre called "Anti". The take very popular movies like twilight and mess up everything. like kill the main characters in gruesome ways, ridicule the plot, make random things explode and stuff. would be great.

The main guy only signed on for three movies iirc. And he hates the twilight series, so who knows if he would be willing to do a fourth one

Basically, whatshername did that herself in the fourth book. It's a train wreck.
And if Pattinson actually manages to escape from the clutches of this monster--and I kinda hope he does--it'll be even more fun. We'll get screaming from the parents and the kids!
Now all we have to do is hire Michael Bay to direct it, and it will be the perfect movie for me to get drunk and laugh at on opening day.

Now that he said something, I noticed. That's fucking awesome. Also, just got back from the theater. Eclipse is actually a decent film. In comparison to the first two, of course. Mainly because the acting wasn't shit this time. They must've taken lessons or something.

Sorry for that, I just needed to get it out of my system.
Aaaanyways, I was forced to watch the first movie at a friend's, and shortly after having read a bit of the first book. My god, I fully support Pattinson's stance and wish him the best of luck with no having to do shit with Twilight.
Now how about a Deus Ex movie wouldn't that be fantastic.
In other news, I saw ads for 4 different Vampire shows on TV, and all of them were for teens. This is making me rage harder.
I bet even when she gets her legs and spine broken Kristen Stewart won't sell any of it and still look like she is sleepy or whatever she wants to call that look of hers that she always uses in every movie she is in.

So I recently beat Persona 4 and am doing a New Game + to get all the social links. Why do I mention this? Because of one of the books you can come across to read.
Reading it increases your Diligence. (You'd have to be dedicated to finish the whole thing).

I'm shocked to hear the acting improved. Well, good on them, then. It's not like I wish them ill...its just that they suck.
