I know some of the people here have the game. Did any of you manage to get the Zoma map from GameStop? Apparently there are "Legacy" treasure maps that will allow you to battle all of the big bads from previous DQ games (sometimes with multiple villains from the same game--like Baramos and Zoma from 3 and Dhoulmagus/Rhapthorne in .

I gave up keeping track of all the final fantasy and dragon quest sequels a long time ago. Would've been easier if they used ordinary numbers, but I guess they went with roman numerals for the "epic" feel.

Hmm, let's see who's had more spinoffs
There are now 9 main Dragon Quest games, not counting modified remakes on 1-3 on the Game Boy Color. And 19 other games/spin-offs. Including, DQ X be coming to the Wii and a DQ project for the 3DS which totals out to 29 games (and that's also counting the Mystery Dungeon titles). As usual, I don't count cel phone games.
But Final Fantasy has 40 games with that license.
And of course there's also Dragon Quest & Final Fantasy in Itadaki Street Special over in Japan.

I was only going to say final fantasy at first, but that would've defeated the purpose of my post. Still, I suck at roman numerals.

One of my friends has this, and honestly I wasn't ultra impressed. I can appreciate it still. |
It's better with multiplayer questing. Unfortunately, only one of my friends has the game. Since the nearest Best Buy running Saturday's event is over an hour's drive away, he said he'd get it if he could, then we can exchange maps and go into the grottoes together. I kinda wish I'd done that with the people I met when I got the Zoma map, one was level 72. Zoma's level 1 but hit me for 334 damage!
