I did an IQ test some minutes ago and got 30/30. Yay! I didn't cheat either, most questions were quite stupid anyway. This gave me a IQ of 136.

Well, I got this in my results:

Your highest score was in Verbal

Exceptional intelligence does not guarantee results -- to achieve excellence you must fully understand your strengths and learn to maximize your efforts. Knowing your greatest intellectual strength may give you insight into how you can improve your learning process, work better with others, or become more self aware of your abilities. According to this test your verbal skills are the most developed of all your intellectual capabilities - your capability to use language effectively and to communicate well is your biggest strength.

Your lowest score was in Verbal

Weaknesses are the roadblocks we face when trying to achieve our goals. Awareness of your weaknesses allows you to predict problems and find solutions ahead of time, thereby alleviating future headaches. According to this test your verbal skills are the most underdeveloped of all your intellectual capabilities - your capability to use language effectively and to communicate well is your biggest weakness.

Actually, the second one is more accurate. But there were 8 other scores in there, not just verbal. Stupid program.

In another IQ test, where I got 133, there was this question (summarized):

Scramble those letters: NADNGEL
The word is a:

1- Ocean
2- Country
3- State
4- City
5- Animal

I found the answer while typing the question. It's very different in english compared to french, so that might explain why I got it wrong.
Try answering it yourself.

If I had self-esteem problems, I'd take IQ tests on the internet to make me feel better about myself, too.

There never was an image here, what the fuck are you talking about?

Dude, a 30 question IQ test? Aren't most of those supposed to be around 200 questions?

If we're to believe internet IQ tests, then apparently my IQ is 168. Even on the internet I've never seen one that was less than 100 questions though, and they are normally 200+.

I'll never take an IQ test. I'm afraid of being disappointed. I don't like the idea of summing up one's general brain power in a number anyway.

The general opinion on IQ's was that they couldn't change, but new research shows that your IQ can be raised and lowered over time.

True. I watched The Bachelor once, and I forgot how to read and write for 3 days.

Most IQ tests don't really test anything besides whether or not you're white, and how many IQ tests you've taken in the past.

In an educational psychology class I took however, we took a intelligence test that was supposed to be the same for everyone regardless of race or background, which, unless you live in some crazy society that uses Roman numerals, was actually very accurate. It didn't assign an IQ though, it just gave you a means to compare yourself to those who took the test at the same time. There were also 2 different ones that had the same procedure but were set up slightly differently; one was for left brain and one was for right brain.

In truth, one's intellegence is all but impossible to measure.

unless I could pull some sort of Great Teacher Onizuka shit and spend thefirst four hours of the test hunting down kidnappers and geting shot, then show up in the las hour of my five hour test with the rescued girl, sit down, finish the five hour test in one hour, ace it, and THEN go to the hospital for my three gunshot wounds, I don't wanna take it.
