So, I got me an NES and SNES a while ago, and the first thing I did was visit titles that I missed out on when the SNES was popular... which was a lot of them cause I was really young when I had it and knew no better on how to pick good games. This list included such classics as: UN Squadron (love it), Zombies Ate My Neighbors (love it), Super Castlevania IV (there's two kinds of gamers in this world: people who think Super Castlevania is the best Castlevania game and people who think Symphony of the Night is... I fall into the latter, SCIV is just too slow and lacks a lot of depth, imo), Mega Man X (really fun, even though I've only managed to get past the Penguin, who's a joke, anyway) and Super Metroid (I can see why this is such a revered game, but it just doesn't do it for me).
Games that I still need to get include:
Contra III
Actraiser
Illusion of Gia (though, I HAVE played Soul Blazer, was a big fan back in the day)
Super Mario RPG
And that's just a checklist from the top 20 SNES games on Syd's list. There's still countless more, so everyone else show their shame.

Illusion of Gia? That's the one where Angelina Jolie plays the model and you have to guide her through lesbian sex with a series of timed button taps and if you're not fast enough, she gets AIDS, right?
Seriously, though:
Clash at Demonhead
Kid Icarus
Retrogames are pretty much my favorite, so I've been going back to try and play as many as I can.

Number one, four and six make me wanna punch you in the head in order to knock you out, then tie you up in my room and keep you chained to a computer until you beat these. Seriously, dude. You won't even hear me coming.
As for me... Um...
The Wonder Boy series, I guess? Final Fantasy XI, Sonic Adventure II (mostly because I still can't believe how incredibly broken the controls seem to be in the first one), Panzer Dragoon Saga, Gran Turismo, GTA London 1961 / 1969, The Oregon Trail.

The biggest ones I've never played are:
Any Fantasy Final game
Any Megaman game
Any Kirby game
Any Castlevania game
Many more by why make myself look like more of a douchecanoe?

Hey! I'm your partner remember? In my defense the only PC games I've ever purchased were NWN 1 and Diablo 2. If I had a way to play Planescape: Torment believe me I would in a heartbeat. I won't touch Quake because I universally suck at FPS games. "FF Online 1" is hardly a classic game so don't beat yourself up about it.
Oh yeah, I've never played Contra either, only Super C.

Well, I guess I'm not that bad. But I forgot FF3(6)... In fact:
FF1
FF2
FF3
FF5
FF6
FF11
FF12
Mystic Quest
I'm pretty sure I've played everything else, though.

I don't know that I'd go so far as to call Soul Blazer, Secret of Evermore or SpiderMan and Venom: Maximum Carnage classics.
For me, name just about any noteworthy PC game outside of Doom, Descent or Quake 1 and I'm pretty sure I haven't played it. I was never a big PC game fan. I've also never played Street Fighter 3: 3rd Impact either.

There are a lot of "classic" games that I've never played. But off the top of my head:
Final Fantasy in general
EarthBound
Mega Man in general
Chrono Trigger
ActRaiser
Secret of Mana
Illusion of Gaia
Breath of Fire in general
SimCity
Fallout in general

Wing Commander IV is worth it simply for the fact that it has Luke Skywalker, Alex De Large, Biff Tannen, and Johnny Rico in it.

I had Wing Commander III back in the day. It was nothing special. You didn't really miss out on anything.

Kid Icarus
Earthbound
Super Mario RPG
Any Final Fantasy after IX
Any Zelda after LttP
Any hand-held game (since I never owned any hand-held device)
I'm sure there's many more that will come to mind.

I have never played Chrono Trigger.
(or Kid Icarus or any of the Kirby games... but I downloaded Kirby's Adventure and Kirby Super Star last night so I should get around to playing those soon)

You're not the worst retro-gamer here. See, you were actually old enough to play most of these games when they first came out. That makes you the worst GAMER here.
I kid, I kid.
