Honestly, the only personality disorder I think Vader had was a classic case of little bitch syndrome. With the prequel movies, especially, he was just a self-important shit and most of the people around him coddled him way too much. Case in point, Padme's reaction after he killed all those fucking sand people (this is the abridged version, of course) "Oh, you poor dear! It must have been Hell on you, murdering all of those innocent females and children." No wonder he became a giant evil douche.
As an aside, I see a lot of parallels between Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker's development and the way a lot of children are being raised nowadays. Motherfuckers have SERIOUS entitlement issues.
