I watched this, the newest Broken Lizard movie just the other night, and even though I went into it thinking I would laugh less than "Beerfest" (which I loathed) I ended up laughing my tits off.
As some of the reviews have said, yeah the jokes are sometimes tired and old. But it didn't bother me and I just had a good time. It was stupid as shit, and that's just the kind of movie I wanted to see.
So, definitely not better than "Super Troopers" but certainly better than "Puddle Cruiser" and I might have even liked it better than "Club Dredd" and it's lame stoner comedy vibe (even though I still laughed at Club Dredd plenty).

I never knew that existed. Was that at the theaters? I never saw a single ad for it if it was, but it looks like a decent flick.
I had not heard of it until this post. It is on Redbox so I might pick it up over the next few days.

You probably didn't hear about it or see it because the MPAA gave it that red rating (i know it was just R), and then theatres went "Oh, we're not going to play that movie" and then they didn't.

Whoever makes the decisions about what is seen in the trailer must be an idiot. In most cases, especially this one, getting a green band is crucial to a film's success. That is unless the goal is to just make a DVD.

Haven't seen that, but I just want to go on record as saying Super Troopers will be my favorite Broken Lizard film ever.

Dane Cook isn't that bad when he's not being Dane Cook.

I saw him at a comedy show before he became famous. He was far and away the funniest comic there.
Dennis Leary, Lenny Clarke, and Jay Mohr were a few of the other comedians who were there that night. They were all funny, but none even came close to Cook. This was back in either 2003 or 2004.

But, is it a better resturaunt comedy than "Waiting"?
I didn't care for "Waiting", although I am a bit biased since I fucking loathe Dane Cook.
I thought Andy Milonkis ruined it for me, I hate that guy SO much. I was worried he was going to get more breaks in movies. Yeah, I hated this movie too.
Slammin' Salmon looks alright, I mean I liked Super Troopers and Beerfest, but didn't like Club Dredd. I must admit I'm a little turned off by the poor editing job someone did on the trailer.
