This is the exact moment where Robo, as a forum member, officially jumped the shark.

Sorry man. You used to be so cool, too. Sad

In addition, you can now get official Robosleuth merch at hot topic and I will be teaming up with the million dollar man against Hulk Hogan in the next wrestlemania.

Jesus guys, if I knew that people felt so strongly about this stuff I would have put it up for vote. I hadn't used robotgumshoe anywhere else for about 2 years, but I guess the name here had history. So whats the deal?

I think it's because I like the term gumshoe and I don't find enough opportunities to use it.

imo, i just feel it flows better and sounds cooler than this new one. granted, it is your name, so you can do whatever the fuck you want, but i appreciated the old one better.

When I think of Gunshoe...I think of you and that hard as fuck NES game.

It probably wasn't that hard, but my timing always sucked.

I wonder what FNJ has to say. He's had the most experience with this sort of thing.

I still call him JEW, but that's because I'm the crotchety old prospector type who can't handle all you city slickers and your changin' monacres.

I normally make it a rule to never change my usernames on anything, though. I have switched emails a bit, just because my old one was kind of unprofessional (which reminds me, I should probably edit my profile to fit my new address).
