It's just a fan made movie:
io9 wrote:
Director Eddie Lebron announced this summer that he was producing the definitive Mega Man fan movie, based on the original video game for the Nintendo. [...] He promises that his Mega Man fan film will closely follow the basic plot of the first video game in the series: Dr. Light creates several androids including Rock and Roll, but his colleague, the evil Dr. Albert Wiley, grows jealous of Light and steals Light’s robot master series, which he uses to wreak havoc on the city. Rock agrees to combat his robotic brethren and becomes Mega Man. The movie will feature each of the bosses Mega Man battles in the original game, complete with energy-based attacks and heaps of special effects lightning.

HAHAHA, it looks amazing. Of course it's gonna be terrible, but not bad for a fan job...

At least it's not Uwe Boll.

EDIT: After watching the trailer, I'm kind of stoked. I mean, yea, it's going to be bad, but I'd rather have a fan movie done badly than have Hollywood do it badly (see above reference). It's not like these people have all these things that they could do, like in Hollywood, and then have poor execution.

RIP Hacker.

It looks pretty good for a no budget film. I think if you just colored all the Fan Made Movie's Dr.Wily's hair all black, he sorta looks like Luigi without his plumber gear on.

Thank god this is fan-made... Roll looks and sounds like a retard.

A Megaman movie should be an anime, and ONLY an anime with the best animation I've ever seen in my entire life, and the highest production values this side of Spider-Man 3.

I would love to see a live-action Megaman movie with Tom Welling as Megaman, Ed Harris as Dr. Light, Al Pacino as Dr. Wily, Ray Parks as Cutman, Joe Pesci as Bombman, that Russian dude from Rocky 4 as Gutsman with James Earl Jones doing the voicework, Kelsey Grammar as Woodman, and me as a new character named Goldberg, a deformed, hunchbacked old jew who basically functions as Igor from Frankenstein to Dr. Wily.

The russian from Rocky 4 is Dolph Lundgren. And he is one of the greatest men ever.

Really nice guy, happily married, and otherwise not a douche like Van Dam or Seagal, he has a masters in chemical engineering, can communicate in 5 to 6 languages, and at six foot five, could kick your ass even if he wasn't a really good martial artist.

He was goddamn he-man for christs sake. And in Johnny Mnemonic, he was goddamn christ for he-mans sake.

There's only one man in the entire world who can play Dr. Wily and that's Christopher Lloyd. He should also be Dr. Light.

Dude, I was just thinking, "wasn't there some actor who played a role where he looked exactly like Dr. Wily?" That's who it was.

I still say Al Pacino though.

I just watched the trailer, and although the fight scenes look incredibly cheesy and roll already annoys the shit out of me it looks like a fun movie to watch.
