Long story short. Fortune tells TechCrunch they can re-publish excerpts from an upcoming book that Fortune was given. Fortune then decides that's not what they meant and threaten legal action.

I don't get it...
I understand what happened, I just don't understand why.
This seems pretty unreasonable, so I am assuming there are political moves happening here that aren't being published.
