Capcom revealed, in a Japanese legal disclosure discussing March business developments, that they have teamed up with with Korean developer NeoWiz Games to make an online Mega Man game called 'Rockman Online.' Rockman is the Japanese name for Mega Man.
Few details were announced. In the past, NeoWiz has worked on such games as Duel Gate and Battlefield Online, a remake of Battlefield 2. The disclosure said that Capcom had "strengthened PC online game development," and that they are "expanding into foreign markets within Asia." This seems to indicate that the game will be a PC game targeted at Korean gamers and American's may have to wait for the game if they get it at all. |

I wish I was Korean so I could play MMORPGs all day and eventually murder someone IRL over rare items. Man, that would be awesome.

I'm not sure about that. This might very well be based off the Battle Network games. Same game concept, but it works a little better for an online game.

It's because you don't actually live in Korea. MMORPGs are huge there.
They were supposed to get a Shenmue MMORPG, which would have made me super jealous, but the project fell apart.

I want to murder someone over a 360 vs. PS3 debate. Then I would keep a straight face as I continually insist to the media that the other guy had it wrong; 1080p does matter and anyone who says they can settle with 720p honestly needs a knife in the chest.

MegaMan Universe was reportedly trademarked by Capcom, so this may be what that is. Though in all honesty I hope it isn't and that Universe is actually a crossover fighting game that uses the Vs. engine...
