I don't know about you guys but I never stopped playing SSBB. I have over 1000 hours with link alone. And since I've gotten it I gotten new things for it like brawl+ and some texture hacks. Who do you play as?

I still like Ness and Pikachu best. They're both very quick and have amazing moves. I wish I could still grab people with D.K. then commit suicide, yet somehow still win the battles. I hardly ever use people like Gannondorf or Ike because they're slow as fuck but one guy I never seem to play with no matter what is Pit.
One of my complaints about the game was having too many new characters unlocked from the begining. Instead of playing as the characters that you've grown used to playing as in the other games, you're forced to unlock them like Captain Falcon and Ness, and once you unlock them, it's less appealing to go back to characters you've tested out but never really sat down with. Once I had Falcon, I didn't bother with most of the new characters again, outside of Meta Knight, Snake and Sonic. And the Sub Space Mission was cool, but I prefer adventure from Melee.
One last thing, I got super fucking pissed when I used a golden hammer on one of those extreme boxes, and it didn't work, yet I lose the fucking hammer! Some of the extreme things on this game are too........extreme! I ALMOST did Boss Battles on extreme, but naturally something spawn in front of me (think it was a bomb or something) and killed me instantly. I got about 85% of the game down, including getting almost every sticker and even doing that Extreme 10 man elimination, but I've never been in the mood to go back to this.

I'd play it when I got together with my friends. I even kicked my ex's ass with Pikachu, though some of his friends were damn tough to beat.

Brawl is such a fucking clusterfuck of chaos. Melee is where it's at.

Brawl's more fun with certain items turned off, alot of the new items they put in are very annoying even during for fun games. I loved Melee when it was new, but for the last four years I've never been inclined to go back to it. Even when I went back to test the Master Hand glitch that was found last year, I didn't feel like playing it.
The one thing I hate the most about Brawl isn't tripping or the cheap items, but the fact that Lucario took Mewtwo's spot and pretty much stole his moves and were modified into a "fighting" theme. I wouldn't have minded him if Mewtwo was still in, but that just pissed me off.

Yeah, I was pissed that HAL originally said "no clones" and then we got a shitload of clones. The only clones that didn't make it in were Dr. Mario and Pichu (and Roy, but we got Ike instead), and Dr. Mario was fucking awesome. I want more Dr. Mario. I want a Dr. Mario level. And Mewtwo is way better than Lucario. Fuck Lucario.

I still believe they could've done with Mario what they did with Wario.
See, Wario has his Warioware duds, then also his classic duds. Mario could've easily been given the same treatment and given him the Dr. Mario duds. Hell, they could've done the same with Luigi and made him Mr. L!

Dr Mario played differently enough from Mario to be a separate character, that even if they gave the Dr clothes to Mario, it wouldnt be the same IMO.

I love Brawl, but the Wii we have here has been... altered... and apparently Brawl freezes up on certain spots. I haven't verified this for myself yet. I'd just hate to get into the game only to have it lock up.

I don't play seriously, so I'm not all 1337 and shit, but I played pokemon trainer, lucario, ike, and gannondorf mostly.
I played samus, fox, and cap falcon in melee, but for some reason I don't enjoy them as much in brawl.

Out of all the new characters, Wolf disapointed me the most, especially since he was the last person I unlocked.
I wish the Star Fox characters would go back to looking like this:
Not this:
Now granted, it IS just concept art for the first one, but I think with today's technology, they could pull it off.
Didn't mean to hijack the thread, just started on Wolf and look where I got!

I like Brawl. It was the main reason I got a Wii. It just feels like Brawl is missing something Melee has. The tripping is annoying as hell and has no reason to be in there. The Final Smash was an an excellent idea, but the clones pretty much have the same FS. LANDMASTERx3 and PK STARSTORMx2. Don't get me wrong, I was going nuts when I saw Fox first call a Landmaster to the stage, but it quickly loses its thunder when 2 other characters can do it too. Can't wait for a sequel.

If Mega Man and Simon Belmont aren't in the sequel, I won't buy it.

I've gotten all but maybe less than 10 of the glasses broken (yes I used hammers). The one character I HATE playing the most would have to be Diddy Kong. Favored characters, on the other hand, would have to be Ike, Marth, Lucario, and Toon Link.

I enjoyed the game when it came out, but I haven't turned my Wii on in about four months. Prior to that, I think I played it once with a friend back in September and maybe a half year before that.
The Wii feels tired.

That brings me to another point, why does Ganondorf still have Falcon's move-set? Who are they fooling with just changing the animations? I was hoping he'd use his sword, at least he can turn into Ganon from TP....speaking of Falcon, he really sucks ass in Brawl. Which disappointed me alot, since I mained him primarily in both the original and Melee.

I'm really hoping Nintendo doesn't plan on continuing the wiimote gimmick on their next console. It's fun for a while, but gets old after a while. You can only update it to keep us interested for maybe a week, until we get bored again. I've been finding myself playing GCN and VC games mostly on my Wii these days.

Gaming in general feels tired. I play mostly 1 on 1 fighting games and DS games these days. I want something I can just plug in and play.
As for Brawl, how do you play, Meatloaf? You're not one of those Smashtards who shuts off all items and plays Final Destination every time, are you?

Fixed.
PC Gaming has actually been improving lately. If DRM could be held in check, then I think PC games would be getting a lot more positive discussion.

I still play Brawl every now and then but not as much as I did a year or so ago. Mostly it’s the poor online matchmaking that made me stop since I’m not a fan of waiting 4-10+ minutes for a 2-minute fight. Besides, the people on my friends list are barely on much nowadays.
I got pretty good with Lucas, Mario and Peach mainly because I already used them in Melee (with Ness instead of Lucas). Now it’s just something to throw in when friends are over but it’s still fun to beat up on random players once in a while. These days it’s all Team Fortress 2 and Starcraft even though I’m terrible at both but it seems to be all anyone I know plays that doesn’t cost a monthly fee.
