Apparently, a Spanish website is claiming that a new Resident Evil title has been announced for the Wii at Capcom's Captivate 2010 event. Why bother talking about a random Spanish site's rumor? Well, this news is coming from the same person that leaked information about Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles months before it was confirmed. The guy was right on the money back then...could he be right this time? Thanks to all that sent this in.

Apparently it will be a mix of on rails (like the Chronicles) and RE 4. Captivate was just held so any more news about the game should start coming out soon.

He apparently had a classmate with a Japanese dad and a Spanish mom that works in a department at Capcom. The thread goes on talking about that Wii game and Capcom making a special edition of Resident Evil 5 for PS3. It then goes on talking about that the release date for something might get revealed at E3 and would land on the Christmas season.
I've taken Spanish class until just a few years ago, but I'm a little rusty.
Edit: Oh, wait, my Spanish is coming back to me. The Capcom told his friend that Capcom wishes to make a Special Edition of RE5 for PS3 using motion sensors. It also said that Capcom brought an RE game for Wii into their studio/developer.

yeah, you got most of it right.
one of the responses is that the game might be a 3rd chronicles game. and it will be a combo of 3rd person & on rails shooter because capcom is hoping that this combo will attract more people to the franchise.
