I didn't realize this was Disney. I also haven't cared about Prince of Persia anything since I had it on my 486, so I don't feel like this is "raping my childhood" because I was a grown man when these new games started coming out. It could be good.

I liked it better the first time when it was called The Mummy. Actually I didn't even like it then either.

it only looks like the mummy because theres a shit load of sand everywhere.

otherwise, it doesnt really.

im looking forward to it. im sure this one will be decent since disney usually makes quality movies (haunted house doesnt count). unfortunately, they will also make crappy sequels like the pirates movies.

The dialog was making me think of the Mummy too.

Isn't it directed by the same guy who did Mummy? Or am I dreaming that? (Honestly I'd count it as a positive, because I LOVED the original Mummy movie.)

Either way, VERY much looking forward to this. Absolutely one of my most anticipated movies of the year, after Iron Man 2.

Btw, I LOVE your new sig, User Very Happy

not going to lie, I think I want to see this opening day.... but if it falls into the Video Game Movie Syndrome then Seppuku is mandatory for me and everyone else in the theater...

The game isn't based on doesn't have an incredibly complicated plot, so the source material is easy to work with.

Plus, I've read some interviews with Jake Gyllenhaal about the movie, it sounds like everyone working on the project definitely knows what they're doing. I'm actually looking forward to this.
