So, I just watched this last night. It was good, but I was disapointed with the ending.
Does anyone else think that the villian (Gerard Butler) should have won?

Sorry, didn't realize that the Good Guy winning at the end of a movie was a spoiler, since that's how 99.9% of movies end.
If I said the villian won in a movie, THAT would be a spoiler, since it is not expected and becomes a twist. (ie Usual Suspects, Se7en, etc.)

in a sense, you're both right, but part of the tension built on a movie is to see how it ends. since we know how it ends, then i guess we can expect the build up to be ok, since thats all we can hope for now.

At first I was annoyed by the spoiler but then I thought to myself, "Are you really ever going to get around to renting this movie?" I knew I was right.

Just so we're perfectly clear...and I get as much out of this review as I can...is that out of 4 stars, or 5? Or 10? And does the negative scale equal the positive, or does it go to negative infinity?

I thought it was ok, how he was able to do all the things he did while locked of was pretty stupid and how it ended was pretty lame. I'm pretty sure the way they "win" would never fly in real life.
It was poretty entertaining but the ending sucked. While I was typing this I forgot for a second how he was able to do all of that stuff while in prison, I guess it was so stupid I blocked it out of my memory.
