Capturing a mother ship is always cool, whether you're talking about pirates, klingons or eskimos. But what gets me about this article is that the pirates opened fire on the destroyer first. It doesn't say what they fired at the destroyer, but if it was anything less than an armor-piercing rocket launcher of some kind, they're fucking retarded.

It was probably chinese made AK-47 knockoffs. If they had anything larger, it was probably a 50 year old mounted machine gun, like an old russian NSV.
It's not they could get a hold of AGM-84 Harpoons or anything. If they had that kind of money, they wouldn't be pirates.
