I am not sure if anyone knows this but Gamestop is offering and additional 50 percent on all trade ins.

Say if you get like 8 bucks normally, then you get 12.

Pretty good deal. I traded in some old PS2 games and got some money to get the Metal Slug Anthology that I have been meaning to get.

wireless 360 controllers trade in for thirteen bucks BEFORE the 50 percent, and before the edge card, and we only check to make sure the buttons press and stuff, so if you guys have any wonky controllers you're planning to throw out, now's the time to make some money.

My only gripe about Gamestop is how the clerks always push for a membership and a subscription. I know they have to do it and all but it's still annoying to say no five different times.

I would have only saved like 6 dollars, and I wasn't planning on ever coming back in the near future, I just wanted a god damn game cube. I would have gave him six dollars to shut it if I didn't know he is required by his corporate overlords to upsale. Rolling Eyes

honestly way back in the day when I first signed up, I didn't know that I was singing up for a discount card that came with a free magazine subscription. I thought I was singing up for GMR magazine, then they said "here's your edge card" and I was all like "whoa."

It's not bad, even just for the magazine.

Not being a gamestop loyalist here, but the card pays for itself quick and is not that expensive.

Must trade in my old controllers.

they once found out a guy that worked there was filling out surveys off of gift reciepts by tracing his ip back to his debit card somehow.

i get the card every now and then. i dont care for the magazine subscription they give you, but the discounts do help sometimes

when did I call him an asshole? but yeah, honestly it IS a bit of a dick move to wear that shirt in the store, but I'd probably do it too for lulz.

wal mart will kick you out if you wear a union shirt. most of the employees didnt know about it, but every now and then an asshole manager would give you some shit.

they would give me a hard time if i had my CWA (communication workers of america) shirt on.

Speaking of unions, Starbucks threatens employees that want to unionize. Granted it's just pouring coffee and wrapping up cupcakes or stocking shelves (in the case of wal-mart) but that shouldn't be an invitation to being treated like shit. But in Starbucks defense, I think the employees do get a good health plan.

Now back to gamestop..... Smile

To answer Jew's jests:
1.) There really isn't any indy wrestling here to my knowledge. I lost interest in wrestling around the time it became the WWE.
2.) I too would only wear it for some laughs. At least one of the stores around is (currently) staffed with guys that would probably smile and laugh at it.

Yeah I got it in december full price and now it's $20 New.

Sad...it was a decent game (not decent enough to keep but still decent)
