If you're looking to kill a few hours around the office, Atari has the answer for you.

They're commemorating the 30th anniversary of Missile Command with a flash-based remake, available free of charge.

Available over at OMGPOP, the remake adds in online cooperative multiplayer, bosses and unit upgrades. Not a bad way to celebrate a classic game, all things considered.

The remake is available now.

I had a go, it was pretty kool. I tried to get it for mame a while back but it didn't work.

If you like remakes of old games like this you gotta try Asteroids on the ps1, it's really good.

I watched Terminator 2 a little while ago. Though I've seen it many times, this time I noticed the fact that John Conner was playing Missile Command in the arcade just before the T-1000 locates him. I thought it was a cool touch that he'd be playing that game, since the movie's plot revolves around a nuclear war,

Yeah that was a nice touch. He plays After burner aswell and i think you also see two little kids playing toki.
