So I recently watched this movie on Netflix and it wasn't all that bad. It was fairly entertaining. I liked the characters, the music was also excellent since it takes place partly in the 1980's and also uses 80's music throughout the rest of the movie. Overall it was just a fun movie. I really liked the performance by Janeane Garofalo in this movie.

I didn't hate the movie, but I do hate Janeane Garofalo because she's a misinformed, whiny, hipster, douchebag who won't shut her goddamn mouth about things she has no business talking about, mostly pertaining to politics.

I think this movie came out before she was really serious about politics. I don't remember seeing her on various news shows and being in the news headlines the time this movie was out. I still liked her in this movie as well as Mystery Men a couple years later. Those are the only two movies I think I've seen of hers.

I went in thinking it would be pretty bad and I was pleasantly surprised. I was browsing the streamable movies on Netflix and saw that and I was like "I remember hearing about this." So I decided to watch it, not bad at all.

Lol I saw this because my mom and sister rented it when I was like 8-10. First time I'd ever heard the term hand-job and whore and probably a couple others, then I asked my mom what they all meant then conferred with my other 8-10 year old friend.

Ya it wasn't terrible, I remember kind of liking it as a kid but that could have been because I was like 8 and thought any movie rated R(I think it was at the time saw it, probably changed to 14A if released on dvd now) was amazing.

I have never seen this, but everybody I know that has says they liked it. I really have to see it one day. I never thought it was my type of movie either, but the people that have told me it is good are people that share similar taste in movies to me.

The 80's setting for parts of the movie and the music used are a big part of it.
