Hey guys, quick question. I've recently played Marvel: Ultimate Alliance (for the PS2) and really liked it. I've been strongly considering getting both MUA 2 and Justice League: Heroes (also for the PS2). However, the reviews on both of them for the PS2 platform were pretty lackluster. Can anyone who has played these games share their thoughts? Like I said, I really enjoyed the first MUA, as well as X-Men Legends 1 and 2 if that makes a difference.

it's time to get a real game console. MUA2 is a completely different game on the ps2 as compared to the 360. it's pretty awful, even if you get cyclops, blade, and psylocke as bonuses.
justice league heroes is a game you'll beat in a few hours and never want to play ever again. my advice is to wait until gamestop (oh noes! the enemy!) has one of those buy two used get one free sales, and buy two remarkable games and get that one for free.

Marvel ultimate Alliance 2 on the PS2 is absolutely horrible it's a direct port of the PSP version, with an incredibly choppy framerate and terrible graphics.
Justice league heroes, on the other hand, is a fantastic looking game. It's also one of the most fun co-op games on the PS2, so definitely go after JLH. plus, you can play as huntress and green arrow!

are you sure it's a port of the psp version? I was under the assumption that the wii version was a port of the ps2 version, and the psp and the ds both got unique versions.
then again, I haven't played the psp or the ds versions, so I don't know for sure.

Heeey, FNJ, the PS2 IS a "real console." One of the best of all time if you ask me! I do wish, obviously, I could play this (and tons of other games) on next-gen, but money wise, that's just not in the cards. So I gotta make due with what I have.
That said, thanks for the info guys. I'll probably look into getting JLH, and avoid MUA2. Seems like a good compromise.

if you're going to make due with what you have, you probably should spend your time scooping up older ps2 games that were optimized for that hardware, and worry less about new releases like MUA2 that were made with current gen in mind. might I recommend Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel?
dungeons and dragons heroes was a good one too, but the ps2 version was cancelled and is therefore only on x box.
