^ I see where you're coming from on that, but I do like Word, myself. (Although it took me for fucking ever to get used to the new layout their top taskbar has; I still prefer the old version.)

That said, I think Microsoft is just too damn big and too damn rich for this to go on for very long. They may actually stop selling it for a while just to try and force the court's hand with the outcry from computer companies and stores, but eventually they'll either pay or work out some deal that resolves it. I really think Word is too ubiquitous (and Microsoft is too powerful) for it to really be going anywhere for any length of time.
