I found Syd Lexia looking for Mega Man Robot Master reviews on Google. Seriously.

Still my favorite article, btw.

I found this site a few months ago when I was looking on the internet for some good NES games to play. I googled "best NES games" and found Syd's Best 100 NES Games list and checked it out. I soon realized I couldn't stop reading it, I couldn't believe how funny it was what I'd found just by chance! I'm a regular on this piece now.

I searched google with "best nes game" and I found the top 100 list of Nes/Snes games. Then a few months later I found the list again and decided to explore more and found the forum. Then I saw the Nes Championship and I was like, "I'm so joining!".

EDIT: Just saw your post homefry, looks like we nearly did the same thing nearly on the same time.

Yeah, all except for the NES challenge. I didn't do that because I have been doing odd jobs and shit, but when I found the top 100 NES games I knew I had found something to my liking. You know how on the internet you can just come across some many BS websites? When I found the top 100 list, I thought "Wow, just another Top 100 list by another dousebag website" But thankfully I gave this it a chance. I was laughing just about the whole time I was reading the list. And I thought that was all it was, a tribute to the top 100 games for the NES in their opinion. But then I found out I could actually be a member and there was a lot more to this website than what appeared. It's just not often that you are just searching the web and find something that is actually cool.

I was bored as all get out and was searching for NES Roms. From childhood, I remember spending hours playing the NES and had a nice catalog of games to choose from. I remember searching Google for a list of the very best NES games and I stumpled on this site.

I found that the reviews for both the NES and SNES to be VERY humorous, and it was a complete "bring-back". Then, I decided to surf this site and found everything on the page to be right up my ally. Ever since, almost everytime I log onto the internet, I stop by this dandy of a page.

Long live, Sydlexia!!!

Also found the name very funny too. Very Happy

I was looking for Mega Man Robot Masters aswell and It brought me to the article he made.

Offtopic : The only thing I do on the internet now is come to Sydlexia, the Food Forum Milita, a rom site whenever I want to relive memories, or a Mega Man wiki.

I misspelled Sid Vicious, and this site was the 2nd or 3rd thing to pop up.

I just Signed up. Found the Site by searching for "Top SNES Games" on google a couple of days ago. I have read almost every article and quite a lot of the Wiki over the past couple days.

Great Site.

Thanks,

I obtained it inadvertently. I was trying to sign up for the screen name “Muppet” on some site/email service (I forget exactly which one). It was fortunately unavailable and gave me the familiar list of similar names I might like instead (I.E. Muppet1981, Muppetguy32 ect.). As you know, most of the time the choices you’re given are pretty lame but Probablemuppet came up on the list, and I have been using it ever since.

Serendipity Very Happy

Kate Beckensale was hot in that movie.

I wonder why "Probable" came up next to "Muppet", interesting programming they must have had.

She was hotter in Underworld.

But I agree, that the computer was on crack when it put Probable next to Muppet. Must have been fate.

I found SydLexia after a friend linked me to Syd's article about Super Punch Out! An extremely funny read really, and surprising to see what boxers I didn't get to back in my childhood when I played it at my Uncle's.
