I was thinking about buying one of these. I have an actual camcorder with better features, but I feel like I miss out on recording a trillion quick, spontaneous events because you can't just whip out a camcorder. It is stored in a closet because it is bigger, you need to check the battery, make sure the dvd isn't full, etc. By the time you are ready to go, it is too late.

These little fuckers store up to two hours worth of HD video via flash memory AND they have a built on usb for easy transfer. Has anyone ever used one of these before? Any feedback would be appreciated.

My mom bought one and I've used it a bit. The video is pretty damn good. It has decent night image quality and image stabilization isn't as bad as I expected... though it isn't anywhere near a standard camcorder.

All in all, I am a fan. I think they had these for sale at Costco. Might want to check your local store out before buying on Amazon... though you'll probably get a decent price there too.

my question to those who have used it, how does it do in terms of lighting? my house is relatively dark, or appears dark, because of the ridiculously bright AZ sun outside, so most of my brothers videos look darker than they should be.
