So I was hanging out with my friend not too long ago and he mentions to me a new "favorite" show of his. Usually when he mentions something like this, it's always a setup for us to watch it. So he went out and bought the first season of a show called "The Mighty Boosh".

Now I'm all for nonsensical comedy, but a lot of what I saw was just absolutely stupid. There were about 3 laughs before I got incredibly bored with what was going on, and much to my chagrin, he kept insisting there were better episodes, so we ended up watching 3 episodes.

For those of you who aren't familiar with it, it's a Brittish comedy troupe who basically do outlandish things and are completely and ridiculously over the top. Sound familiar? But unlike those "other" guys, Boosh falls flat very quickly and never recovers, it's basically the equivelant of watching a couple of guys do improv in a high school auditorium. And yes, I like Python...but I hate this crap.

Any other haters? Fans?

It's cool if you like the show and all, from what I saw it just seemed to just throw things against the wall in the hopes of being funny, I watched the episode where the main character fought a kangaroo, one where the other guy is in love with a panda and the third I can't really remember much since I was literally falling asleep.

It was all season 1, I don't know if it gets better. I don't know if I'd give it another shot though, it really made me think I could write comedy, since it was so bad.
