Indeed. The asking price was $25, but the guy couldn't get it to scan so he just gave it to me.

Dude you are so lucky. Was it a local small business-esque game store? All we have here is big corporate ones who just sell the latest games out. I remember going to a rental store after the release of PS1 and asking where did all the SNES games go. The guy replied they all go to a warehouse and are left there. This saddened me.

It's a place called "Gamers" which deals in the midwest area; Iowa and Nebraska. It's been here for several years and sometimes they get good things in, usually nothing at all though. When I lived in Iowa City, I was basically the first person they called when they got a rare game in. If you're cool with them, they usually give you 10% off or basically give you the game if it doesn't ring up properly. Back in the day, I got Mega Man 6 the same way, since it wasn't in the system, they just gave it to me and I ALMOST got Dracula X for free as well, but they figured it was too expensive to just give away. The store I was at yesterday was quite run down and the people who run it just are incredibly lazy, but I try not to hassle them since they give me the hook up anyways. I've saved hundreds of dollars dealing directly through them, as opposed to a place like Gamestop who will seriously fuck you six sides from Sunday.
