No, this is not a joke. Because of Marvel's tendency to run popular things into the ground, they are running Deadpool into the ground. He is going to have 3 separate monthly comics including The Deadpool Corps which will feature Deadpool, Lady Deadpool, Kid Deadpool, and Dogpool. Again, this is not a joke.

So what do you think brought this on? Is it something you will completely ignore? Do you think it is a cheap attempt at bringing Deadpool to the "mainstream"? Do tell.

Well Deadpool has becomely hugely popular over the last year or two, and even more popular because of the Wolverine movie. This was brought on by the fact that Marvel always does this. In the 80's there were like 5 Spider-man books and 5 Punisher books and 5 Wolverine books. They don't know how to leave well enough alone and accept that 1 good monthly book and the occasional good miniseries is much better than 5 horrible monthly books and an endless stream of minis and one-shots.

Agreed! If anything, this will just cheapen the character and run the whole thing into the ground. Of course I'm hoping that is not that the case but when you look at the statistics....

The idea of a deadpool 'family' sounds like an amazing way for Marvel to make shots at DC superheros, i'm looking forward to this.

stupid deadpool corps would be so much cooler if it was deadpool in charge of a team of mercenaries or something because deadpool in charge of anything is funny leave it to disney to fuck up marvel already they should burn in hell and die why didnt i use any punctuation in this post
